Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council have chosen the Hyfire wireless fire detection and alarm system, used in conjunction with a Notifier intelligint wired system to protect their housing stock as part of their commitment to the Goverment Decent Housing 2010 Scheme. The 5 year contract which is being undertaken by Trinity Protection Systems is well under way and involves the installation of a fully compliant BS5839 Part: 6 systems in the landlords and tenant areas of 500+ properties. The installations utilise the Notifier ID intelligent system in the landlords areas, where wiring is simple and cost effective and  Hyfire wireless detection throughout the tenants areas where access issues and decoration disturbance are a significant factor. The wireless components of the system are fully integrated onto the Notifier loop and provide the end user with a single user interface via the Notifier control panel.   “ We have been using  Notifier equipment for some years now with good success, but with the addition of the new Hyfire wireless equipment we have been able to tackle some of the installation issues which have caused us problems in the past.
